This conservative scaffold describes the current website code and is not legal advice. Before production, the owner and qualified counsel must verify the legal business identity, contact details, applicable jurisdictions, every provider and data location, contracts, final retention schedule, and the accuracy of each statement.

Optional analytics and external media are off until you opt in. You can accept, reject, change, or withdraw optional choices at any time.

How preferences work

Necessary storage supports security, form integrity, authenticated administration, and this preference record. Analytics and Functional media are independent optional categories. The preference record stores version, category choices, timestamp, and selection source without a visitor ID.

Current storage inventory

  • jzta_consent_v1 — Necessary, first party, 180 days. Remembers the preference schema version, Necessary/Analytics/Functional choices, timestamp, and source.
  • WordPress authentication/security cookies — Necessary, first party, session or configured login duration. Created only for authenticated administrators/editors or WordPress login checks, not ordinary public browsing.
  • jzta_attr — Analytics, first party, 30 days. Stores allow-listed UTM source/medium/campaign and first landing URL only after Analytics opt-in.
  • jzta_analytics_reported_<event-id> — Analytics, sessionStorage, browser session. Prevents the same successful assessment event from being reported twice, only after Analytics opt-in.
  • External media storage — Functional, provider controlled. YouTube or Vimeo may use storage or receive device/request data only after Functional media is enabled and a player loads, or when you follow a direct provider link. Provider names and policies must be revalidated before production.

Other server-side records

Security/rate-limit transients and CRM duplicate controls are server-side and not browser cookies. They currently expire after 10 minutes. Hosting/security logs and backups are also not browser cookies; production retention must be configured and documented.

Use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer. Reject optional disables Analytics and Functional media together; Manage choices lets you select them independently. Withdrawing Functional media removes loaded external iframes from the current page. Clearing browser data removes the preference and the site will ask again. A recognized Global Privacy Control signal with no existing record defaults optional categories off.

Browser settings can also block or delete storage. Blocking Necessary storage may prevent the site from remembering your choice or may affect authenticated and form-security functions.

Changes and verification

The inventory must be retested whenever a provider, embed, analytics adapter, plugin, or hosting layer changes. No optional category may be enabled merely because a future tool was installed; the banner, policy, tests, and provider contracts must be updated first.
